who we are and how it all started

Olive & Bloom Homes is an HMO rental management company, born out of:

1. Inspiration from someone very dear, having moved out of home into a shared home, reminding me of the wonderful world of HMOs and their essential place in the housing market.

2. Understanding the real daily struggle that property owners and landlords can face.

3. The desire to make property beautiful. Creating a warm and welcoming home.

4. And honestly … The desire for growth, the property business, to protect and provide a legacy for my family and give back something to those who need it most.

Like so many young people, being fiercely independent at the tender age of 16, I left home seeking freedom and adventure, hungry to find what life had to offer.  Renting a room in a house provided me with an accessible, affordable and sociable way to live. Staying in the South East - Kent and Central London an area I know well, living in a few shared properties - HMOs.

I know just what it is like to be a young roommate searching for, finding and living in a shared home and how important it is to 1) have caring and responsive landlords, 2) Live in a welcoming, sound and secure house and 3) have great, easy to live with housemates! This is the foundation necessary to be able to offer a great HMO experience.

Now ‘grown up’ with a family, a home and a property investment portfolio of rental properties; single lets, multi-lets and HMOs I have been on both sides of the ‘rent to rent’ relationship. Being in the business, I know first-hand the potential pains and worries property owners can be faced with regularly. We know how to ease those pains and make the investment grow how you originally intended. Worry free!
